03 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar

07 - 1 large egg, room temperature
→ For Brushing
08 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
# How to Make It:
01 - In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy.
02 - Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture and stir to incorporate evenly.
03 - Gradually add flour, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon or dough hook until a soft dough forms.
04 - Knead the dough on a floured surface or with a mixer for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
05 - Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm location for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
06 - Punch down dough to release air, divide into 12 equal portions, and shape each into a smooth ball.
07 - Place dough balls evenly in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Cover and allow to rise for 30 to 40 minutes until puffy.
08 - Set oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
09 - Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter before baking.
10 - Bake rolls for 18 to 20 minutes until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.
11 - Remove rolls from oven and brush again with remaining melted butter. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
