Mango Peach Iced Tea (Print Version)

A chilled blend of mango, peach, and mint offers a bright and fruity beverage to enjoy all summer long.

# What You'll Need:

→ Tea Base

01 - 4 cups water
02 - 4 black tea bags

→ Fruit Purée

03 - 1 large ripe mango, peeled and diced
04 - 2 ripe peaches, pitted and diced
05 - 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

→ To Serve

07 - 2 cups cold water
08 - 1 cup ice cubes, plus more for serving
09 - 1 small bunch fresh mint leaves
10 - Mango and peach slices for garnish, optional

# How to Make It:

01 - Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat, add tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and allow tea to cool completely.
02 - In a blender, combine diced mango, diced peaches, honey or agave syrup, and fresh lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
03 - Pour the fruit purée through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove fibers, if desired.
04 - Add the cooled tea to the pitcher with the fruit purée. Stir well to combine.
05 - Add 2 cups cold water and 1 cup ice cubes. Stir thoroughly to chill and dilute to taste.
06 - Add half of the mint leaves to the pitcher and muddle gently to release flavor.
07 - Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, or until thoroughly chilled.
08 - Pour over additional ice cubes in glasses. Garnish with mango and peach slices and fresh mint leaves.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It tastes like summer in a glass without any of the complicated steps or fancy equipment.
  • The combination of mango and peach creates this natural sweetness that feels indulgent but isn't overly sugary.
  • Fresh mint transforms it from basic fruit tea into something that feels special enough to serve guests.
02 -
  • Oversteeping your tea even by a minute can introduce bitterness that no amount of fruit can mask—set a timer and stick to it.
  • Don't skip the straining step if you're serving this to guests who are particular about texture, because floating pulp bothers some people.
  • The mint must go in gently or it'll turn your drink an unappetizing brown color instead of staying bright and fresh-looking.
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before pouring if you really want to impress—the cold glass keeps the drink perfectly chilled longer.
  • Buy your fruit the same day you plan to make this, because peak ripeness is fleeting and makes a real difference in the final taste.
  • Keep the mint separate from the main pitcher until serving time so it stays bright green and aromatic instead of turning dark and tired-looking.
